How you can search exciting filters on Instagram

Before anything, you need to make sure that your Instagram app is up to date to ensure that your phone can access all the new features. Nowadays, you can find almost any type of filter that uses augmented reality to change the color and shape of your hair, eyes, face and even add stickers and other features.

You can use all these preexisting filters to enhance your profile and even save them on your camera roll.

In this article, we will talk about how to search filters on Instagram.

How to use filters:

• Open your Instagram application on your phone.
• Swipe left on your feed page. This will take you to your Instagram camera.
• At the bottom of the screen, you can see the camera shutter and many preset filters.

• You can use these filters by tapping on them and trying them out on your face.
• Swipe through all the filters to test them all out.
• If you want to view even more, you can swipe till the end and tap on the magnifying glass icon.
• This will take you to a new screen to find a search bar on top of the screen.
• Tap on this bar and search filters by typing in a keyword
• The search result will give you many filters that are similar or are associated with the keyword you entered.
• Tap on any of the filters you want to try

• When you click on a filter, it will show you a preview of what the filter looks like.
• On the bottom left of the screen, you will see a “try it” button.
• Click on that to try the filter.
• You can even download or save the filter to your camera for easy access.
• To do this, tap on the download/save icon on the bottom right screen.
• To save the filter, tap “OK.”

After this, you can go back to your camera and swipe right on the filters again. The one you saved will appear on the first icon.

With so many creators of all these interesting filters, Instagram allows you to search for filters from one creator. If you like a particular filter, you can search the creator’s profile to check out their other filters.

How to search for filters by the creators:

1. Search for the creator of the Instagram filter by tapping on the three dots at the bottom of the filter.
2. Go to the creator’s Instagram profile.
3. Tap on the smiley face icon that appears above their feed. This will show you all the different filters that the creator has made
4. Click on whichever filter you prefer and click on the button that says, “try it” button at the bottom left of the screen.
5. This will redirect you to your phone camera, and you can now use the filter to take pictures or record a video.
6. You can even save the filter by tapping on the “save/download” icon on the bottom right side of the screen
7. You can now use this filter by simply swiping to the right after opening your Instagram camera.

Search for Instagram filters through followers:

If you see a filter on your friend’s story that you want to try, you can do so by going to the filters page and downloading it. You will see the filter’s name and the creator on the top left-hand side of your friend’s story.

Tap on the name to try the filter for yourself. If you want, you can download it by clicking on the “save/download” button on the bottom right-hand side of the screen.

Another way to find filters is by sharing them. When you find a filter that you want to send to one of your friends, you can use the “send to” button that looks like the Direct messaging icon on the bottom right of the screen. This will initiate a pop-up list of your recent chats on your DMs. Choose who you want to send the filter to and tap on “send” at the bottom of the screen.
