You can’t send private messages on YouTube

For this reason, YouTube rolled out the private message feature in 2017. But this feature was shut down shortly. The reason for pulling back this feature was mainly that it was under-used.

1. Business inquiry email
You can use the option of a Business inquiry email to contact the creators of your valued channels. Keep in mind, however, that this option is only visible on the desktop version of YouTube.
How to set up business inquiry email on your channel

If you’re a fan of some creator, then you can show appreciation to their content by liking it, commenting on it, or sharing it. But you can take it a step further and connect with them personally. And you can do that by writing to their email. YouTube creators who wish to collaborate with their desired content creators can also use this option. Here is how you can send a message through business inquiry email:
· Visit your YouTube account
Go to YouTube website and log in to your account. Visit the channel of the content creator you wish to message on YouTube.
· Click on “View email address”
Once you are at the account of your desired channel, you will find a few tabs on the screen. You need to click on the “About” tab. Then select the “View email address” button. If the account has not set up business inquiry emails, then the email address option will not be available. Whereas, if the account has emails set up, then you will be able to view the email address. Sometimes, you may be asked to fill out a reCAPTCHA form before you can proceed.

After the email address is visible to you, you can copy it in your notepad. Then, use your email account to type up and send your email to the copied email address of your desired creator.
2. Go to the creator’s blog or website
In case the channel you want to message does not have business inquiry emails set up. You can always look up other ways to find their contact details. Many YouTube creators have blogs where they post pictures or other relevant content. Some even have websites for their products. So you can visit the “Contact us” section on their websites to connect with them. Or you can follow their blogs to find out relevant details or connect with them on the blog.
3. Contact the creators on social media
Social media websites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter connect people from all over the world. In this digital age, almost everyone is using at least one of these apps. So it will not be a surprise if you could find your favorite YouTube creator on social media. You can find the social media links of your desired content creator by visiting their channel and looking at their channel’s description. You can also go to their “About” page to find the relevant details. If you’re not able to find their links on their YouTube channel, you can search for them manually on the social networks. Just type their name or their channel’s name into the search bar of any social network. And if you’re lucky, the profile of your desired YouTube creator would pop up!
4. Connect with other YouTube creators on the Creator Hub

Go to the website of YouTube Creator Hub. At the top left corner of the page, you will find three horizontal bars. Click on it to reveal a list of pages.

From the pages, select “Community”. Next, click on “Join the community”, which will require you to sign in to your YouTube account. After signing in, you will be directed to the terms of service agreement page. Click “Submit”, and you will be taken to the homepage of the community.
· Start a discussion with other YouTube creators
You can search for topics of discussion in the search bar. You can also click on the “Discussions” tab and select an option that you like. From sharing tips and tricks to finding creators for collaborations. You can do anything and everything on this platform.
