Verification via Desktop:

Most content creators use a computer to access all the video editing features available on YouTube. First, we will explain how to enable long videos on YouTube via computer:

• Go to https://www.youtube.com/verify
• You will be directed to a page mentioning Step 1 of 2 to verify your account
• Add your country from the list provided
• Choose an option from Text Verification Code and Automated Voice Call
• You will be prompted to enter your phone number. Add your phone number there and click on Submit
• Once you are done adding your number, a Step 2 of 2 page will appear asking for the verification code
• Add the verification code you received and click on Submit
• A confirmation page will appear with a message that the account has been verified.

You can also check to see if your account is already verified before you go to the verification page:

• Go to YouTube Studio

• Click on Settings from the menu

• Go to Channel

• Go to Feature Eligibility so you can confirm your verification status

• If verified, Enabled will be written in green. Otherwise, you can verify your account.

Verification via Smartphone:

Some people also prefer the mobile app version of YouTube when they upload videos because of the ease of access and handling it provides.

• Go to your YouTube mobile app
