- Go to Menu by clicking on Profile and select Paid Memberships, or just visit https://youtube.com/paid_memberships from your computer
- Click Manage Memberships
- Select the membership you want to pause
- Choose Deactivate and select Pause Instead
- Select the period (1 to 6 Months) for which you want to pause it and click Pause Membership

- From your YouTube app, click on Profile and go to Paid Memberships or visit https://youtube.com/paid_memberships on your desktop
- Go to Manage Memberships there
- Select the membership you want to cancel and click Deactivate
- Select Continue to cancel
- Choose your reason of cancelling and click Next
- Click Yes, Cancel
It’s better to cancel before the billing period ends so you won’t be charged for the next month eithwe. You don’t have to worry about the completion of the month because, if you cancel before the end of the billing period, you will continue to receive its benefits until the period is complete.
